WhatsApp

WhatsApp could be soon implementing a means of deleting sent messages, preventing your internal screaming when sending a text meant for someone else.

This life-saving feature will allow users to delete and edit messages from the receivers phone if it hasn’t been read. This is currently being tested on the beta version of the next WhatsApp update.

A feature exclusive to WhatsApp that’s also being tested is Live Tracking — allowing users to share their movements to friends in a group chat, along with this users can also share their moving location. All of this is building on WhatsApp’s Send Your Location feature which is still popular to this day.

Through the settings you can turn these features on or off to alleviate worries of privacy. As this is currently being tested via the beta version of the app’s next update, it could be available soon but no release date has been confirmed.

WhatsApp’s primary focus has been to add live features that ascend texting. The messaging service is also testing replying to status messages or being able to shake your phone within a conversation to report spam. In addition, much like Snapchat, users will soon be able to draw on images and pictures.
